Popular cribs recalled. I, personally, used a drop-side crib (a Ragazzi purchased in 2005 - now owned by Stork Craft - that did *not* have plastic hardware) for 2 kids with no problems. I have to wonder if these "incidents" are because the cribs are not put together properly or if these crib manufacturers need to be done with plastic hardware! Regardless, heed the warning and make sure your crib has not been recalled. We all want our babies *safe*.
