Have any of your kids been hit with the flu yet? The week before last my 3yr old daughter had some intestinal issues that I chalked up to an antibiotic she had taken for an infected finger. Well. Tuesday morning I got her dressed for preschool, had her on my lap to do her hair. She put her head down and said she had a tummy ache. Next thing I knew poor thing was getting sick. Yep, all over herself, all over me and all over my bed. Needless to say she did not go to school. My son was so upset because I couldn't take him to school.
So what's the one thing, besides fever, that worries us mommies when our children are sick? Dehydration. It can happen so fast, especially with these flu bugs that hit with diarrhea and vomiting. My daughter couldn't keep anything down, she's a teeny little thing so naturally I worried. I didn't have any Pedialyte on hand and I really wish I had. I couldn't see dragging my daughter out to the pharmacy as sick as she was. I ended up letting her suck on some ice cubes until daddy could get home from work.

Now I won't be without Pedialyte again. I went out and got Pedialyte Singles. And next time I will be prepared. I love that with the singles I can send them to "school" with the kids because sometimes although they're feeling better, their tummies are still a bit sensitive.
Gosh, there are so many times these single packs could come in handy! Remember, it is recommended that you talk to your doctor before using Pedialyte.

My kids will be so much happier with these than the regular stuff in sippies!!
These are great to have on hand. Hope your little girl is feeling better.
I haven't seen these in my store yet, but I'll be keeping my eyes open. I really like the portability of them, making it easier to keep on trucking even though one of the kiddos isn't feeling their best.
Oh, my daughter would love these better. Since, she likes her juice boxes, this will definitely work for her. Thanks for sharing
That's a great idea! I'm sorry your daughter has been sick. Hope she feels better now!
Wow! I have never seen something so handy. I wish I would have known about these about 2 weeks ago, my cousin, he is 3, got sick with simonella from the chicken at the local Chili's, and he was hospitalized for 5 days, the dr told his grandparents to keep pushing pedialyte down him, and he prefers juice boxes, and they had a hard time getting him to take it through a sippy. I will let them know about this, incase someone else gets sick! Thanks!!!
I did not know these were now in singles. I use to hate buying the big container then it spoils in 48 hours. This makes me more likely to buy them. Thanks for the info
I didn't know they came in singles now!
