Flowerz In Her Hair ~ Because every girl should have flowers in her hair.  Isn't that the truth!?  Young or old, flowers are a wonderful hair accessory.  Since I have a daughter with gorgeous hair, if I do say so myself, I contacted Flowerz In Her Hair and requested the opportunity to host a review and giveaway.  My request was graciously accepted and I received 2 awesome items for review.

I love, love, LOVE the fun and colorful couture bow that we received.  The colors are bold and bright with shades of green, pink, blue and black which match several outfits my daughter has.  She also loved the bow, so much that she opened the package before I got to take a picture of the pretty packaging.  What can I say? She saw the bows and there was no stoppin' her!  

So we put the bow in her hair, grabbed the camera and went outside to play.  Normally I don't just put a bow in her hair because the bows slide out so easily.  It's always put up in either a pony tail, pig tails or just the front pulled back w/ a pony holder, then I clip the bow right at the base to prevent slipping.  Flowerz In Her Hair bows came with nice non-slip grip that held the bow firmly in place, even after running around.  You can see in the picture below how nicely the bow held the hair out of my daughter's face.  She wasn't much in the mood for having her picture taken but you get the idea.  (Note:  There's nothing wrong with her hands, she was just a busy girl and was playing with her Silly Bands.  She would.not.stand.still. for a quick picture.)

It wasn't much longer until she was asking to wear the second bow that we received.  So after a potty break we put her hair up and tried out the red and white flower.  Now, I have to say, I've always been pretty conservative about the bows my daughter wears.  I don't know why, I guess I liked that 'classic' look.  But I was up for change and was looking forward to going fun and funky!  

I'm glad I was open to change because look at how perfect that flower looks in her hair!  I ended up having her wear this flower for the Fourth of July.  I put it in her hair, just on the side, like the 1st bow posted above. It stayed in just fine.  I had to put it back in twice but if you saw how hard she was playing you'd be surprised if anything stayed in her hair!

The picture above was not from the Fourth but from the day we got the samples.  I just wanted to show you that although it's a big flower it's just fine for a 2yr old.  Don't mind the mismatched outfit.  I'm a firm believer in allowing my children to express their fashion sense.  Ha.
