An Upholstered Headboard

A few months ago my husband and I graduated from a Queen bed to a King bed.  We needed the extra space.  I'm sure many of you can relate - you go to bed with just two people in your bed yet you wake up with extra bodies.  Often times I would bail out and go sleep in my son's bed.  Two adults, two kids, a Labrador Retriever and a cat are just too much for a Queen size bed!

The problem with upgrading to a larger bed was that our old Queen size headboard, that matched our bedroom set, no longer fit.  I contacted the furniture company and asked if they carried the headboard in King size.  I was told that this particular set was discontinued!  Discontinued!?  I thought.  Well, I guess after 8 years they are allowed to change their styles.  I asked if they had any new lines that would be comparable to the style we currently have.  Nope.  Her suggestion was to go with upholstered headboards.

Never in a million years would I have considered upholstered headboards before now.  CSN Stores contacted me about doing a review for them and upon browsing their 200+ stores I discovered THIS headboard.  The lines match the lines of our furniture perfectly.  But our furniture is a deep cherry, so I'm not sure how a chocolate headboard would look.  So I'm not 100% sold on this particular headboard but it gives me a good idea of what I'm looking for.
