About Avocados From Mexico
Here’s a bit of avocado trivia: the world’s first avocado actually came from Mexico. Their authentic flavor and rich, creamy taste has been perfected over generations. Plus, Mexico is the only place in the world where avocado trees naturally bloom four times a year, so naturally, Avocados from Mexico are always in season. Avocados from Mexico are handpicked from USDA certified orchards and shipped to the U.S. within 3 to 4 days! No wonder they’re called “the world’s finest.”

There are lots of excellent recipes available.  You can check them out here.  This is one I want to try!

Avocado Chicken Wrap
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked chicken strips
4 slices, cooked crisp bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/4 cup corn kernels
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
Hot sauce, to taste
2 fully ripened avocados from Mexico, halved, pitted, peeled and thinly sliced
4 flour tortillas (10-inch), warmed

Preparation:
In bowl, combine chicken, bacon, tomato, corn and cilantro. Stir in blue cheese
dressing and hot sauce, if desired. To assemble: Spoon chicken mixture onto each
tortilla near one edge, dividing equally. Arrange avocado slices on top. Fold in sides;
roll up, starting from edge with filling. To serve: Cut each wrap diagonally in half;
place seam side down on plate.

 I wrote this blog post at the request of Avocados from Mexico, making me eligible to get a $25 iCARD gift card.
