Dog Days of Summer ~ Barney Furry Friends DVD Review & Giveaway

My daughter is the worlds biggest Barney fan. She's been a fan since she was itty bitty. Her 2nd birthday party theme was Barney. Her whole 2nd year we lived, ate and breathed all things BARNEY. I kid you not. She just officially turned 3 years old yesterday and there's no sign of the Barney phase fizzling out any time soon. Everything must be "Barney Purples". Did you see the princess castle cake I made for her birthday party over the weekend? Yep. That was "Barney Purples", even the inside was colored to be pink and "Barney Purples". She's so into it that she tells us she's going to "race Barney Purples motorcycles" when she gets older. Heaven help me.

So we received this new DVD in the mail and my daughter went bonkers over it. Not only was it Barney, but it was Barney with dogs, another favorite for my daughter. (If only there was a Barney DVD that had Barney, motorcycles, dogs and horses...all her favorite things wrapped up into one.) I really, really like this particular Barney DVD because there is a strong emphasis on how to care for animals and how it's a big responsibility. It even captivates my 5yr old son's attention and he never got into the whole Barney craze. And who doesn't love to sing along to BINGO? :P
